Easy Capture

"Achoo!" Connor couldn't hold back his sneezes at the state of the old house.

Sighing, Ryan patted his shoulder. "Do your best to at least sneeze quietly, Conn," he whispered.

Connor nodded, wiping his nose. "Sorry, Ryan."

"Not to worry. Abby, any signs of creatures?"

Abby shrugged. "Not so far." She grinned evilly. "At least the amount of dust around will easily show any invaders."

Connor grumbled.

Then she stiffened. "Ryan, there are some footprints right around the corner. Definitely reptilian, but pretty small."

"Thank fuck for that," Lyle griped.

Something scuttled across the room into Abby's hands.

"Aw, cute!"
